6 thick slices of bread
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup Kai Ora Manuka Balsamic Dressing
1 punnet of strawberries
2 cups cream cheese
Optional: Your favourite Kai Ora Honey
To make the Balsamic Strawberries: Place sliced strawberries into a bowl with 1/4 cup of Kai Ora Caramelised Manuka Balsamic Dressing. Set aside to marinate.
To make the French Toast:Whisk the eggs, milk and vanilla extract in a shallow dish. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture one at a time. Flip them once, then drain off the excess egg mixture.
Fry the bread for 2 minutes on each side or until golden. Remove from pan and keep warm while you cook the remainder of the slices.
Serve french toast by slathering each slice with cream cheese and top with the marinated balsamic strawberries. You can also add a little drizzle of your favourite Kai Ora Honey if you'd like to add a little bit more sweetness.
