This dish is so easy to make, with only 4 ingredients needed! A 5 minute prep time, followed by 15 minutes bake time means this is a quick and easy dish to prepare that will really impress.
1 Camembert round
2 Tablespoons of Kai Ora Mānuka Honey
1 handful of Pistachios (or walnuts work well too).
2 sprigs of Thyme
Start by preheating the oven to 180ºC.
Remove the packaging from your camembert, and place on a piece of baking paper, and put on oven tray.
Use a sharp knife to gently score around the edge of the camembert, cutting away the rind.
Lift off the ‘lid’ and discard. Now, it’s time to add the topping.
Layer the pistachios in the Camembert. Then add your thyme (or whatever herb you like, this also goes well with rosemary).
Then, drizzle with the Manuka Honey, round about 2 tablespoons worth, but feel free to use more if you like.
Carefully place in the oven and bake for around 15 minutes until the nuts are golden and brown and the cheese is soft and melted.
Remove the cheese from the baking paper and place on a serving platter. Arrange crackers or crusty bread around the cheese and serve warm.
