If you're back to work after the summer break it can be hard getting back in to a morning routine. So to make it easier we've put together some fresh and tasty smoothies to get you out the door fast.
Kanuka Raspberry Iced Chocolate
This one is for you if you love something sweet and chocolatey to start your day. It's a must-try for any chocolate lover.
- 1 cup raspberries
- 1 banana
- 2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup plain yogurt
- 1 Tbsp honey
- Add all ingredients into a blender, and blend until well combined. Serve & Enjoy.
Green Kiwi Smoothie
This is a refreshing and tasty smoothie filled with lots of healthy fresh fruits and vegetables to give you a spring in your step.
- 1 banana, peeled
- 1 large green apple, cored and chopped (keep the skins for extra fiber)
- 3 kiwis, peeled and cubed
- 1 cup unsweetened yogurt*
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups spinach or kale
- Optional garnish - cucumber slices
In a blender, add the ingredients in order and blend until smooth.
Summer Berry Smoothie
This one is a fav with the tamariki in our whare - its full of summer berries and tastes delicious.
- 1 1/2 cups of milk
- 1 banana sliced
- 1 1/2 cups frozen mixed berries
- 3/4 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Optional garnish: fresh fruit, edible flowers and bee pollen.
Blend all ingredients until smooth and enjoy.
